Pillars of the Earth (Daedalic Entertainment)

Pillars of the Earth is an interactive novel produced and published by Daedalic Entertainment. During the production, I was the in-house sound design lead on the project and joined during the end of book one’s production to finish books 2 and 3. I was joined by talented sound designer Mathilde Hoffman, who made working on the project a really wholesome and fun experience.

Mathilde and I worked side by side on headphones and had many fun recording sessions on the project.

Some highlights were recording silent horses, climbing up a church tower in Hamburg to record wood creaks, recording the team doing crowd reactions and doing death screams right next to the CEO’s office (the studio room was there and not perfectly isolated)
